General Secretary- Mr. Satyapal Singh (Negi)

Satyapal Singh Negi is an accomplished Taekwondo coach and player with over 20 years of experience in the field. Born on December 25th, 1982, in the village of Balyuli, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India, he has dedicated his life to promoting Taekwondo and helping aspiring athletes achieve their full potential. 

A man of unwavering determination and passion, Satyapal has earned a reputation for excellence, receiving numerous awards and accolades for both his individual achievements and his contributions as a coach. 

Satyapal's journey began in 2002 when he joined the DAV Public School in Chandigarh, India, as a Taekwondo coach. With his exceptional coaching skills and ability to inspire young athletes, he quickly made a name for himself, guiding numerous students to success in regional and national competitions. 

His dedication to Taekwondo led him to work at several other prestigious schools, including St. Xaviers School, St. Stephens School, KRK School, Smart Wonders School, Jainender Public School, Gillco International School, Doon International School, and Panjab University Chandigarh, where he continued to nurture and develop young Taekwondo talent. 

In addition to his impressive coaching career, Satyapal has achieved remarkable success as a player, competing in numerous Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) championships. 

He showcased his exceptional skills at the 24th National Senior Male & Women Taekwondo Championships in 2005, the 31st National Senior Taekwondo Championships in 2012, and in 10 Open Nationals and 15 Open State Championships.

He has also demonstrated his versatility by excelling in Yoga coaching, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring yogis in Chandigarh for over six years. Satyapal's dedication to Taekwondo extends beyond the realm of competition. 

He has dedicated himself to promoting the sport and fostering a sense of camaraderie among Taekwondo practitioners. As the founder and head coach of the Negi Taekwondo Tigers International Academy (India) and the director of Negi Taekwondo India (Private Limited), he has created a platform for individuals to learn, grow, and excel in Taekwondo.

His contributions to Taekwondo have not gone unnoticed. Satyapal has been recognized and honored for his achievements both nationally and internationally. He holds a black belt 3rd Dan, is a state coach for the Taekwondo Federation of India, and an international coach for India.

Satyapal has also had the privilege of participating in numerous international events, representing India at prestigious competitions such as the World Taekwondo Hanmadang in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2020, the Canada Open International Taekwondo Championship in 2019, the 5th Tirak International Taekwondo Championship in 2015, the 9th CK Classic Open International Taekwondo Championship in 2016, the 7th Tirak International Taekwondo Championship in 2017, and the 8th Fujairah Open (G2) in 2020 and 2022. Satyapal Singh Negi's life is a testament to his unwavering commitment to Taekwondo. Through his exceptional coaching skills, competitive achievements, and contributions to the sport, he has become an inspiration to aspiring athletes and a respected figure in the world of Taekwondo. 

With his passion and dedication, he continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of those he trains, helping them achieve their dreams and reach new heights in the world of Taekwondo.
